Mr. Richard Grana, with Impex, was recently re- appointed to serve as a member
of Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Small and Minority Business (ITAC 11) by
United States Trade Representative Ambassador Ronald Kirk and US Secretary of
Commerce Gary Locke. ITAC 11 is one of 16 industry trade advisory committees (ITACs)
in the Industry Trade Advisory Center, which is jointly administered by the U.S.
Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the United States Trade Representative (USTR).
ITAC 11 is the only advisory committee that deals with small and minority
business exporter concerns, and its work reflects market access issues faced by
small and minority businesses. ITAC members provide the Secretary of Commerce
and the United States Trade Representative or their designees with detailed
policy and technical advice, information, and recommendations regarding trade
barriers and negotiations and implementation of existing trade agreements.
